So recently I've been running a workshop at uni for the 4th year Mdrama design students. Showing them basic Photoshop functions to use in their set and props designs. They took the workshops well, and learned very quickly.
Now I'm running Photoshop drop in sessions on a different campus for fine art and event and experience design students. This is gonna be more of a consultant based workshop - im on hand to help the students in their work, but won't be operating a lesson based session. (which is good - because planning the sessions was a total drag)
The theory is that this term im running them for free, but next term I'm gonna push for payment on a sessional lecturer contract.
The average graduate takes 3 years to fall into work relevant to their degree, its taken me 5. Still, im grateful.
